This is Jen and Mikayla , and we are Adriana Beltran’s family and friend. Our family has created this GoFundMe on Adriana’s behalf during an incredibly difficult time.

Adriana is only 20 years old and truly one of the funniest, kindest, and most genuine people you could ever meet. She is hardworking and has always been a supportive friend, coworker, daughter, and sister, and so many people rely on her. She was also a welding student who had been working hard toward building her future.

On January 2nd, Adriana was involved in a severe motorcycle accident that left her in the ICU for the majority of her hospital stay so far. She suffered extensive injuries primarily affecting the right side of her body and spent several days in critical condition. We are incredibly grateful to share that Adriana is now awake, and on January 12th she was transferred to a rehabilitation facility to begin the next phase of her recovery.

While we are thankful that Adriana survived, doctors have informed us that she may be paralyzed due to nerve damage on the right side of her upper body. She will likely need to go to Stanford or UCSF for a highly specialized surgery that may help her regain some movement.

Because of her injuries, Adriana will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover her medical and rehabilitation expenses, necessary medical equipment, home modifications and supplies, and personal living expenses during her recovery.
