Hello friends,

Nathan is dancing through his second round of spinal injury in Colombia. Yesterday (Jan 25th) he had a paragliding accident and seems to have damaged the two vertebrae above the ones that were fused four years ago when last crashed. He will be undergoing surgery in the next couple of days with the same fantastic spinal surgeon that patched him up last time in Cali.

Bala is with him and it seems that he has a good support team around him. Kim is flying to Colombia to be with him shortly. Nonetheless, it will be a long, arduous, and expensive road to recovery. On top of the medical costs, there will be unexpected airfare costs, lodging, taxi, food, the list goes on.

Nathan has deeply impacted all of us in the Woodrat flying community and beyond, and as this likely is the end of his flying career, we hope that this will be his greatest moment of need from those around him. Please consider chipping in towards his recovery expenses, with him being so far away this is the most impactful thing we can do to ease his passage to the other side of this ordeal
