On July 14, 2019, Jenny tragically lost her life when she was shocked by a pressure washer at home in Costa Rica. Jenny was a beautiful person, full of love, life, and happiness. She was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her dedication to her sons, as well as her family and friends will be deeply missed.
The money donated here will be used for Jenny’s family to cover the service expenses, and to help raise her sons, Jesus (14), and Santiago (11). Any extra money will be used to help finish building their surf camp.
This fund has been set up by Mo’e and Atua, the iSurfTribe founders. iSurfTribe is a YouTube channel, with a community of surfing enthusiasts all over the world. Jenny’s son Jesus has been featured in videos over the years. We’ve encouraged him to get into the surf contest life, which he excels at. At the time of Jenny’s accident, their family business, La Puente Surf House, was hosting the very first iSurfTribe Surf Camp week. We would like to ask our iSurfTribe community for their support during this difficult time.

We would also like to ask our small community of Santa Teresa & Playa Hermosa for their ongoing assistance to the Perez family. They will need our love and presence not only now but in the years to come. *Edit: I have worked closely with the Perez family and Go fund me to complete the process of getting the donated funds to them. All money collected has been deposited to the US bank account of Chris Mo’e, then wired to the Perez family in Costa Rica. Jenny and her whole family have been good friends of mine for many years, and we all live in the same small community. I have sponsored her son Jesus in surf contests over the years.
