Hey everyone! The Global Health Organization at NYITCOM is trying to fundraise money for the children at the House of Light (Casa De Luz) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This past March, students from Long Island and Arkansas were able to visit this amazing organization and spend time with the children and staff. We were all deeply moved by everyone's commitment to providing a life full of dignity and love for these kids. Many of these children were abandoned due to their disabilities. House of Light is able to provide meals, medical care, and weekly physical therapy to these children. We were also told that during COVID, many nurses at the facility mortgaged their homes in order to keep House of Light afloat. We would greatly appreciate any donation you could make to help support the children and staff at this truly inspiring place!
