Support for the Bowman family

On December 5th, Darcy and Marie welcomed their son, Angus, into the world. Angus was diagnosed with Pierre Robins Sequence - a cleft palette accompanied by a small jaw and asymmetrical ears - which causes a compromised airway and poses a risk of feeding complications. This diagnosis has made it necessary for Angus to be admitted to Sick Kids in Toronto, where he is under the care of incredible doctors who are working hard to get him healthy and ready to come home for good. With this, Darcy is spending much of his time travelling between Toronto and Muskoka, to the hospital to be with Marie and Angus, and back home for work. We are reaching out to you, our community, to help alleviate some of the financial stress that comes with hospital stays, travel to the city, and caring for a loved one with medical complexities. If you are lucky enough to know Darcy and Marie Bowman, you know that they are a couple that would do absolutely anything to help a person in need, so please join me in offering this same support to this young family.
