Help My Dad Fight Stage Four Lung Cancer

November 2021 my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Small Cell Lung Cancer. Within a few short weeks, we have gone from learning about his cancer to also learning that his Cancer has metastasized throughout his body. The cancer has spread to his spine, liver, and lung and now his bones, which has caused a great deal of stress onto his body.

Before becoming ill with lung cancer my father owned his construction company and worked to provide for his family on a daily basis. Over the past few weeks, the lung masses have also invaded his spine and liver which have increased in size causing two compression fractures on his spinal cord. Leaving him struggling to walk, let alone being able to supervisor over a construction site. The diagnosis of lung cancer not only turned all of our worlds upside down but has also caused the issue where my father can no longer do the things he loves such as building within his community and playing with our four year brother.

My father is preparing to FIGHT and kick this cancer ass beginning his chemotherapy and radiation journey on December 30th, 2021. My father is a stubborn and prideful man that has a hard time accepting the fact that he is no longer able to work, So asking for help is something he is not used to doing and would never be ok with us doing.

Unfortunately, insurance only covers so much and does not cover household bills, Though my sister and I are doing our best to help our father financially, we can only personally do so much. We just like our dad don't oftentimes like asking people for help but would do anything to help ease the burden and stress our father is experiencing during these times.

We believe that the Lord will heal our father so before any donation we ask for prayer. We also appreciate any donation as all funds will go to helping support our father doing his recovery process.
