Jon, my big brother, suffered a stroke last Thursday which is going to leave him with substantial medical bills and recovery time. While it’s too early to know what his recovery will entail, it is likely to be lengthy.

If you know Jon, you know that he will drop everything to help any of his loved ones in need. I remember a time in high school when I needed $400 to go to a baseball tournament in New York. I didn’t have the money or anyway to get it. Jon had it and he offered it to me without hesitation. That’s how he is! And thank goodness I’m not saying that’s how he “was”. Because of his and Jaymee’s training as EMT’s they recognized what was happening right away and sought help. Thanks to their quick action and the skilled and selfless hands at the IMC ICU, they were not only able to save his life, but they were able to lessen the amount of permanent damage that he sustained. We are hoping and praying for a full recovery, and we’re asking those of you who can to donate any amount to help cover deductibles and some of their monthly bills as Jon recovers.
