My name is Athan and I am asking for donations to help me walk. When I was born the doctors told me I wouldn't make it past 24 hours, and here I am turning 14 this year. I was born with cerebral palsy, and hydrocephalus. I am wheelchair bound and after several hip surgeries I was told my ability to walk in the future was no longer an option and simply standing is questionable even with assistance. It wasn't until I was at the assistance expo in Los Angeles, Ca where I met the owner of a company called TREXOS, and they made my dreams become a reality. This company has created as I call them, my superhero legs which is a robotic assistance device to help those who do not have the ability to walk do so on their own.

I am asking for donations to help me become the superhero that my mom and dad always told me I could be. My mom and dad have always done their best to give me everything I could ever need and more. Unfortunately, this device is quite expensive and very out of reach financially for my parents.
