In the heart of Sudan, amidst the chaos of a brutal civil war, a young girl named Asmaa Mohamed dreams of a brighter future. Despite the turmoil surrounding her, Asmaa's determination to start a new life pursuing her studies abroad led her to apply for a MSc in sustainable urban design in the UK.
Her efforts have paid off when the admission letter from the university of Dundee arrived. Due to the lack of means in the whole country of Sudan, a fundraiser is the only solution for Asmaa to afford the tuitions of around 17000 GBP (20000 EUR) after taking into account her scolarship, plus travel expenses like the visa and airplane tickets.
I'm Rawan and I am personally in contact with Asmaa's family, I will be the connection to transfer the money to the university and for the visa expenses. Together, they devised a plan to support Asmaa's aspirations. To raise funds that would pave the way for Asmaa's escape from Sudan and her journey to the United Kingdom to study urban design.
