Veterinary Help to Animals in Ukraine

Since the onset of Russia's assault on Ukraine, both humans and animals have suffered the devastating consequences of the conflict. They endure unspeakable cruelty, abandonment, hunger, thirst, explosive mines, and rocket attacks. As the world's attention shifts, let us implore one another to remain mindful of the people and animals in Ukraine, who still grapple with the ongoing hardships of this war.

With assistance from generous donations

I am an experienced Veterinarian who ventured into Ukraine during the initial phases of the conflict to provide care for animals affected by the war. What I saw there, the suffering of the innocent in the midst of turmoil, left an indelible mark on me. Since my return, I've remained committed to offering support through the valuable connections I forged during my time there.

Here is a glimpse into my experience......

I am now returning to Ukraine early in October, to provide aid and support to these animals who continue to suffer. I am partnering with NOWZAD, a respected UK charity with a mission to champion animal welfare, particularly in conflict-afflicted regions. Our shared objective is to build a shelter near Kramatorsk in Donetsk, the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, offering a safe haven for animals afflicted by this senseless destruction. By combining NOWZAD's expertise with my veterinary skills, we aim to create a lasting impact.

I am asking for donations to help provide as much veterinary aid I can carry with me from here in Australia. Your donation will also help buy much needed veterinary medication, instruments, equipment, food, blankets, pain-relief and and other vital supplies required to meet the welfare needs of war-affected animals in Ukraine.
