HELP ME STAY IN MY HOME

Hi my name is Carole, I am a 71 year old Type 1 diabetic (diagnosed at the age of 2); I am on dialysis and I have degenerative disc disease. My 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th lumbar discs are fused. I have had two back surgeries and there are 4 screws across my lower back to support my spine; both my knees were replaced in 2008 and 2009. After my last surgery my right leg does not work correctly and I cannot climb stairs without great difficulty. At present I am living on the bottom floor of my house in a 10 x 20 ft room. I use a microwave to cook and a small refrigerator to store my food. I have a television in the room and a 1/2 bath attached,

To stay in my home and be able to use my kitchen, dining room and living room, I need a chair lift for the stairs. The cost of the chair lift is approximately $4,000. I am determined to remain independent and live on my own and do not have any resources for a chair lift.
