My name is Tinnil, and I’m the owner of 2 Chix, a Brooklyn brunch spot I run from the kitchen to the front door, blending my Trinidadian roots with my New York upbringing. I created this space with intention—from the front decor that represents NYC to the back of the restaurant, which reflects my Caribbean heritage.

Our menu is a fusion of Trinidadian classics and American brunch staples, like our bake & saltfish sliders and our bacon-egg-and-cheese served on a pink waffle. Every detail—from the food to the experience—is designed to feel fun, thoughtful, and welcoming.

2 Chix is not your average “brunch.” We don’t do hookah. We’re not blasting music over a DJ booth. This is classic brunch with a twist—the kind of place you can bring your mom, your boss, your best friend, or your date and feel at home. And for the last few years, we’ve done it all without a liquor license—running BYOB, creating mocktails, and doing our best to fill in the gap.

But now, as we approach our fourth year, we know it’s time to take this next step:

It’s time to bring the cocktails back.

Yes, the bar is already built—but we can’t legally pour a single shot without the license. That’s where you come in.

Why We’re Raising $6,500 by May 1st

To finally apply for our liquor license and retain a lawyer to get the process started, we’re raising $6,500. This will allow us to bring full bar service to the space and elevate the experience even more.

But instead of asking for donations, we’re doing what we do best:

We’re inviting you to brunch.

We’ve created gift card packages that let you support now and sip later—when the license is approved and the mimosas are flowing.

    •    $25 = 2 Mimosas/ Cocktails

    •    $50 = Bottomless Mimosas or a Mimosa Pitcher

    •    $100 = 2 Bottomless Mimosas or 2 Mimosa Pitcher

• $250 – Brunch Bottles for 4+ (2 bottles of bubbly/1 bottle of hard liquor + juice mixers, Reserved seating for 4 during our Liquor Launch Weekend)

    •    $500 – Brunch Bottle Experience for 6+( 4 bottles of bubbly /2 bottles of hard liquor + mixers, Reserved table for 6)

All packages will be redeemable once our license is active. You’ll be first in line to toast with us—and part of the story that helped get us here.
