Hello my friends.
I was diagnosed with Metastatic Carcinoma inside my mouth on the top of my tongue that also spread to my neck lymph nodes. The Doctors said I have 70 to 80% chance of pulling through. I like those odds. I am currently almost halfway with my treatments. 4 out of 7 chemos are done and 15 out of 35 radiations are done. I cannot swallow anything now but oatmeal. I have lost weight and my energy level is very low.
I have decided to create a GFM account to help with the mounting medical bills and other costs. I cannot work until after this journey is over and I'm recovered, by then I will have massive debt. I estimate 10k to 20k by the time I'm through.
I have insurance, but the deductibles are huge. Doctors, chemo visits, radiation treatments, CAT scans, MRIs, PET Scans, surgery......each one of these sends me a bill.
Since I cannot work and only have one employee, it is starting to put real pressure on my business as well. I am having to ask another company to help me. Not having much rain is another stress factor. If you can help a Brother just a little, I would appreciate it very much.
