My name is Rachael, and I am the founder of PURRS Naperville, an all-cat rescue that merged with another wonderful rescue organization a few years ago. Today, I'm reaching out to you for a very special cause – helping Emmy, a 10-month-old Scottish Fold rescue with severe back trauma.

Emmy's X-rays show no fractures, suggesting disc issues or a severe bruise. Although she currently cannot walk and is incontinent, her neurological signs are promising. We're hopeful that with the right treatments – chiropractic care, acupuncture, and possibly an MRI – Emmy can regain her mobility and urinary control.

You might remember Jimmy, a cat I worked with who faced similar challenges. Despite his initial neurological signs being less hopeful than Emmy’s, he made a remarkable recovery, even climbing stairs again.
