Sweet Javy the kitty needs your help!!

Javy underwent emergency surgery on Wednesday, March 15th. This page is set up to help fund a portion of the extremely large Vet bill that is owed for his emergency life-saving procedure which needs to be paid in full in the coming days.

Javy is one of the sweetest, cuddliest kitties you will ever encounter. He loves to curl up in your neck nook as close to your face as he can get and rev up his purr motor to full volume. He is a loving, gentle, sweet kitty and his human companions are desperate to see him make a full recovery!

Javy went into the emergency clinic on Wednesday afternoon after exhibiting extremely concerning symptoms such as profuse vomiting and loss of appetite. After a full workup and extensive diagnostics, it was discovered that Javy had a foreign object stuck in his stomach lining which was causing the vomiting and pain. It was determined by the veterinary professionals that this foreign object needed to be removed immediately. The clinic performed an endoscopy that led to emergency surgery to remove this foreign object that unfortunately had a string-like material attached to it that traveled further down into his intestines and entangled. The surgeon was able to successfully remove the object and attached lines through several small incisions into his stomach and intestines.

Javy then went to the intensive care unit at the vet clinic as he was exhibiting a fever post-operation that they closely monitored to ensure that there was no infection or complications. He was so shy and scared at the vet, that the decision was made to send him home - under the restrictions that his temperature be monitored hourly over the next two days. Medications, eyedrops and antibiotics are being administered daily.

The current cost of these diagnostics and emergency life-saving procedures is currently standing at a devastating $9,740.58. Any animal lover knows that the stress of your pet going through these circumstances is extremely high, let alone having an insanely high vet bill on top of that to add to this distressing situation.

If you can find it in your heart to help support Javy's human mom Gina who is a 30-year-old, single kitty mama who loves her baby Javy so very much - and allow her full focus to be placed on him making a full recovery, that would be life-saving for both Javy and Gina. Javy is her snuggle bug, her roommate, her best friend and her baby boy. When they first suggested the surgery, the original estimate was 4K ... which was staggering, but she knew she needed to save his life. Now after the complications, the bill has more than doubled and is still growing, leaving her overwhelmed and uncertain about how she'll manage things.
