Dear Friends and Family,

It’s time for me to finally replace my 2006 wheelchair van with a new one. My old Toyota van has served me well, but it’s now well beyond its service life – and won’t pass inspection. I’ve spent thousands over the last couple of years trying to keep it limping along, but she’s finally had it.

A few years ago, I started a small business selling collectible vintage automobile advertising, tools and parts - as well as non-automotive advertising. Having a vehicle has been one of the most important factors keeping me going because I procure stuff from all over rural Upstate NY. I’d love to keep going and expand my business – maybe even open a store some day!

As you can imagine, these specialized wheelchair vans are expensive. My goal with this fundraiser is to reduce as much as possible any borrowing from the bank I’ll need to do after the cash I’ve already saved toward the new van. (they make you put a goal so I swung for the fences.)
