Hi, My name is Colleen, I am Tiffany's Mom. I am starting this GoFundMe for her because her health has been getting worse over the past few years. Although she may not appear sick on the outside, she has definitely been very ill. I have been to many of her doctor's appointments over these past few years only to hear they don't know what is wrong or what could be causing all of these medical issues. We have been to General Practitioners, ENTs, Neurologists, Cardiologists, Rheumatologists, ER's, etc. She has had all kinds of blood work, imaging, and surgeries. Unfortunately none of this testing has been able to give her an answer to why her health continues to decline.
She suffers from extreme fatigue, heart problems, shortness of breath, headaches, brain zaps/fog, dizzy spells, lightheadedness to the point of almost fainting, severe joint pain (sometimes to the point she can barely move), blurred vision, nausea, stomach pains, being sick after eating, swelling of her joints/body, constant ear pain, etc. The list could go on. She misses out on family activities and certain outdoor things with her kids because she is too ill. She has become super cautious of driving too far from home or a medical facility in case something were to happen. I have watched all these symptoms rob her of enjoying so many things she used too.
After some research and speaking to other doctors, they have decided that another surgery could possibly take care of some, maybe even all of her issues she has been having. Unfortunately, Insurance will not pay for this surgery because it isn't deemed necessary by other doctors. Our family, after many discussions and weighing the Pros/Cons, have decided it is worth it to go through with this surgery. Tiffany will be out of work for 6-8 weeks to heal from her surgery. We are hoping that this will help her regain her health and that she will be able to stop going to multiple doctors appointments every week for testing, imaging, follow-ups of ER visits, etc. That she will be able to enjoy her life again. She doesn't like to show that she is sick and has done well at keeping it hidden. She continues to work as hard as she can with a smile on her face & friendly attitude. She is strong and continues to fight being sick daily but, it's time she gets the chance at getting her health back.
We have set a surgery date for the end of July. Tiffany had been added to the cancellation list in hopes she can get in sooner, as she needs this surgery ASAP. So please, if you can, help her out.
