Hangry

Happy birthday month! I mean: Happy October! It's MY birthday month. Which is why I am asking YOU for money. Subtlety is not a virtue I possess. 



A few months ago I wrote ME + U, a short film about a couple who at first seem to be arguing about brunch but of course are (h)angry about much more than that. Well, Lex is hangry. Celeste is hungover. Brunch is waiting. Clock is ticking. Stomach is growling. The world is ending!

(Yes, the character names are Lex and Celeste -- I had bigger things to do than come up with silly names)

So we have finished production, but now we are stuck in this really unpleasant place called post-production hell. It's the place where films go to die. We have a rough cut of the film, but none of us have the time nor the skills to bring the cut to the next level.

We are raising funds so that we can: 

- Hire an editor

- Hire a sound designer 

- Acquire music 

- Apply to festivals
