Joshua

Joshua was a 15 year old boy who was just starting his life, he had a long future ahead of him but he was taken from us too soon. He had many goals and many passions; one being cars. He was at car takeover on Avalon and 135th street where he was shot twice and left there with no help, not even from his suppose “ friend “ and “ girlfriend “ who was there with him when it happened. He was left there alone fighting for his life until a nurse who lived right in front of where it happened and two girls passing by stopped and helped apply pressure to his wounds. Police and ambulances took over 30 minutes to arrive to the scene and was then taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition where they did an emergency surgery but was left with severe wounds. We were then told he was on life support and only a miracle could save him. About an hour later he stopped breathing and doctors weren’t able to do anything more, he was pronounced dead. We can’t believe this happened to such a young boy with a whole life ahead. Joshua was so loved by everyone every where he would go he didn’t deserve to die this way. Please help us give him the funeral he deserves, anything, anything at all helps.
