Just asking is enough to humble me in this trying time. Many of you know that my shoulder and bicep were just reconnected and I had savings aside for the two months I was unable to work. Now, with the money low, but back at work, the Kiltmobile has become a total loss due to ice on Taborton Rd. I had picked up my daughter to get her home safe. Which has its own level of shame. We are both in good shape considering going down a hill into the woods and ending at a tree. Bumps and bruises and some damage to my knee. With the savings being spent, I find myself in a position I hadn't anticipated. While the insurance works it's wicked ways, I'm now in a place where my work is limited again. I'd be happy if they even out the truck and there certainly won't be a check from them. So now, we are running on three months of being unable to work or working minimally doing small jobs. I'm not the begging type. Not even the asking type, really. However, I find myself having to put my family well in front of my pride. I'm asking for help for my family... Not for my truck. That will work itself out. I ask most humbly and gratefully. Anything is a blessing as we come into this time of year. Thank you and God bless you and yours.
