Holly was involved in a terrible and serious accident (described below) that is leaving her unable to work, play or create much in this next 3-6 months.  We are hoping to raise enough to keep her healthy, operating and not stressing about the finances needed to survive this long painful journey.   ((( We will also be hosting several art showings and linking a site where you can purchase prints of Holly's art soon.... ))) 

Accident details::: Holly was driving southbound on the 101 and was veered off the road by a reckless driver.  Her car flew 50 feet through the air and smashed into a tree on the bank of a cold rushing river.  The tree then fell on top of her car.  They has to use the jaws of life to remove her.  She bled for over an hour while they got her out.  She was driven to the Willits hospital then life flighted to the ICU in Santa Rosa where she has been for over a month.  Her beautiful dog Otto was seen on the highway running scared.  Someone may have picked him up.  For now he is missing. 


Injury details::: Holly has sustained a number of intense injuries.  She had her spleen removed and surgery on her pelvis which was fractured in half.  She shattered her left hand, broke several ribs and hit her head pretty good.  Her brain is getting better and better everyday, but needs time to heal.  She was in the ICU for over a month and is now home due to insurance issues.  She will be in a wheelchair for at least 3 months and will need assistance everyday for regular tasks.
