Antonio’s Road To Recovery

Donation protected
*This is the only gofundme directly associated with Shalee and Antonio Perkins.*

Hello my name is Shalee Perkins. For those of you who don’t know, my husband Antonio was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident Friday, January 6th. He has spent the past 6 weeks in the hospital, 4 of those in the ICU. He sustained multiple injuries, including an amputation below the right knee. The doctors stated it’s a miracle he is alive and fought many hours that night to keep him here with us. The road to recovery will be a long one but we will take this road over the latter. Please continue praying for our dear friend and loved one as he continues his journey to recovery. Thank you all and GOD bless!

ABOUT ANTONIO
Antonio has touched so many of our lives with his strong spirit, positive attitude and amazing presence. Whether you met him in passing, at church, or a fan from his outstanding voice announcing,
Then you know he has a huge heart and only wants to spread the love of faith, friendship and joy in life. Antonio has touched every life he has ever come in contact with.

I am starting this fundraiser on this site to raise the money needed for his recovery and support. All donations raised will go directly towards;

• Direct support for his medical care and recovery needs (surgeries, hospital stay, PT/OT, recovery equipment, etc.)

• Cost of living expenses such as bills, along with reconstruction on parts of the home to make it wheelchair/handicap accessible.

• Rehabilitation cost and prosthetic.

• Other unexpected expenses are sure to arise

Your support and care are appreciated. Together, we will help Antonio on his road to recovery. Thank you!

MORE ABOUT THE ACCIDENT
On the night of Jan 6th Antonio was headed home from Dallas when a vehicle merged into his lane causing Antonio to wreck his bike into the back of the vehicle. Several bystanders stopped to aid Antonio. A young man who is still unknown (we will call him a guardian angel) applied a tourniquet and yelled out the time it was applied to his right leg which ultimately saved his life and kept him from bleeding out.

Antonio was wearing his riding gear and helmet. It's going to be a long road of recovery for Anotonio. We greatly appreciate all the support and thank God Tony is here with us.
