Barbara Martin has been a pillar of the Blythe California community for over 30 years. She has brightened the lives of everyone she comes in contact with. She would bend over backward to help anyone. That’s just the woman she is. Unfortunately cancer doesn’t discriminate, and our sweet Barbara was diagnosed four weeks ago with stage four lung cancer. It is aggressive, and since the initial diagnosis and scans has spread to her back, neck, lymph nodes and the lining of her brain. Her husband Mark and children Mark Jr. and Naomi, as well as their families have come together to be with her and assist in her care. But the road ahead is a long and painful one.
