The Torres Family

Dear Friends, Families, and Community,

My name is Ashley, and I’m the sister of Iris. With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to you with a humble request for support as we raise funds for my sister and her family in our community.

Their Story:

Iris and Chris have been facing an incredibly tough few years. Approximately two years ago, Chris, my brother-in-law, was diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing intensive treatment. The cancer has advanced to stage 4 and has now become terminal. Chris has been transferred to hospice, and their children are paying their farewell to their father, as he will soon depart this world leaving behind his greatest treasures.

As you can imagine, my sister has had difficulties throughout this journey. There have been a number of stressors that have created tremendous emotional and financial strains. As a result, I ask you for financial help to support my sister, Iris, her 3- and 4-year-old children as they prepare for Chris’ transition. Your contributions will go directly towards any funeral expenses, as well as other essential expenses needed to provide relief and stability for this strong mother and her two amazing young children.
