Central Hall Grimsby was built in 1936 serving as a Methodist Church for the area.
Over the years as the churches disbanded the hall was to close. In 1991 Central Hall Trust was formed by an outstanding group of individuals who did not wish to see this poignant venue go to ruin who took over the building to save it and regenerate it to further acoustic venue to serve choral and orchestral events. As genres have changed over the years Central Hall began to host some amazing names, bands and acts, the likes of Adam and the Ants, Michael Dore, Iron Maiden, Def Leopard, G4 and many more.
During Covid-19 the Hall struggled once more however has finally begun to revive itself with many members who share the love and passion for the building.
As a charity trust we rely on peoples experiences, memories and enjoyable times here at the hall. Over the years it has been supported by many other businesses and generous individuals.
We really need your help again.
Essential roofing work needs to be completed in order to maintain the heritage and some generous Businessmen have donated their work, free of charge, if we can raise enough money to cover material price.
Can you help?
