Update:

Unfortunately Ali’s cancer has reoccurred and although we are optimistic and moving forward with all positive vibes, the bills do not stop. We want to do everything we can to take the financial burden off of her and therefore we are opening this back up. We know times are hard for everyone right now and we are so so so thankful to everyone who was able to donate previously and to those of you who still can. Every share helps! Howdy y’all, we are the tattoo team from the Western Rose. If you’re seeing this page then you likely know us as Ali, Dave, Reagan, and Victoria. On June 9, 2023 Ali was admitted to the ER for blood loss, she was held over night while they ran tests and did a biopsy to determine the cause of bleeding. Unfortunately she has been diagnosed with Stage 2B cervical cancer, fortunately Ali and her doctors are very optimistic that a hysterectomy could cure it but there is about a 30% chance that she’ll need to follow up with Chemotherapy to knock out the remaining cells. As of right now once she has her surgery she will be out of work for approximately 8 weeks.

Ali is an incredible artist, who started The Western Rose a couple years ago as a nail salon and tattoo shop, since then it’s transformed into a thriving tattoo shop. She’s a magnificent leader, an inspiration to women in the industry, and the most empathetic, caring person you’ll ever meet.

As a tattoo artist she is self employed and does not have health insurance, so the financial goal has medical bills in mind although it will likely cost even more. Because Ali will be out of the shop for quite sometime this money will also help cover her own personal bills at home and any bills at Western Rose.

WOW! Y’all are incredible, thank you for all of the support so far.

Ali met with her oncologist today and due to the size of the mass they will not be operating and will begin a radiation, chemotherapy combination over the next 5/6 weeks to kill the cancer cells. She is still stage 2B with about a 70% success rate. Please keep sharing and offering your support it means the world to not only Ali but the whole team at Western Rose ♥️
