Student Teaching in Uganda

Friends and Family,

The Lord has blessed me with the incredible opportunity to complete my Student Teaching requirement in Kampala, Uganda, this Fall. I will be working with a teacher in a high school classroom teaching history to international students. This is not a decision that I made on my own. Once presented with the opportunity to embark on this experience of a lifetime, the Lord revealed to me that this was His desire for me.

Due to a Study Abroad Scholarship from Kennesaw State, my tuition for the semester will be paid for. What is NOT covered by that scholarship, however, is the cost of the flight. For a round-trip (I would like to return to the states at the end of the semester!) ticket to Kampala, Uganda, it is around $1,800. I am currently working approximately 30 hours a week in an attempt to save money, but I cannot save up fast enough; I need your help. Whatever amount you would be willing to contribute would be more than enough, and I will be very appreciative of your generousity. If you are currently asking yourself "Why Uganda?" I would love to connect with you through my blog, which I will be updating often before my trip and during my experience! Just click here!

Thank You and God Bless!
