Hello! My name is Freddy. I am a senior and a wrestler at the Haverford School. When I was a freshman, my bestfriend passed away in a car accident. His name was Kip Taviano. Kip was the older brother I never had. Kip was supposed to be continuing his career as a student-athlete at Furman University where he would play Division 1 lacrosse. In his honor, I am running an event to raise money for his scholarship fund. Two years ago they started a scholarship foundation. It is the Kip Taviano #10ve Scholarship. #10ve is another way to spell "Love." The day Kip passed, the 10ve hashtag was created on Twitter. The "10" represents Kips lacrosse jersey; also the "Lo" in "Love." As a senior, it is mandatory we do a senior project throughout the month of May, but I need to start working on my project now. I will be hosting the #10ve Wrestling Match. I will be raising as much money as possible for the scholarship fund. All of the proceeds will go towards the fund. The money that is raised through this gofundme will go towards the singlets, uniforms, that the wrestlers will wear at the event. I have desgined beautiful singlets in Kip's honor. Any donation is very much appreciated. It is not possible to put into words how much Kip and this event mean to me. This event is a celebration of a young man's life who was taken too soon. If you could please help, I will be eternally grateful. If the goal is met, all of the excess money not needed for the fund singlets will be donated to the scholarship foundation.
