Please help my mom win this battle with cancer!

By far the worst day of my life was hearing the news that my mother was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. She was complaining of body pains, unexplained weight loss, and hair loss. She went to her doctor for a check up, only to find out she has this life threatening blood cancer. 

My mother is the strongest person I know, who survived lung cancer when she was 26 years old. Since then she has never had any health problems, until now. She is the most optimistic, the most caring, warm, generous and loving person I know. She's an absolute angel, outgoing, full of life, loves to entertain and make people laugh, so to hear about this news, scared me half to death and broke my heart into a million pieces.

At the moment she doesn't have any health insurance, and the treatment is very costly. So far, the chemotherapy pills cost upwards of $7,000 a month, not including her doctors visits, further tests and treatments the doctors would deem necessary. The good news is that this type of Leukemia is very treatable, but of course as is with all cancer treatment, extremely expensive.

Only a month after the diagnosis, we've received more bad news that her mother has suddenly passed away. This devastating news on top of the cancer diagnosis has caused her great pain, depression, emotional drain and stress in her life, and I am very worried for her. We're all trying to be strong for her and show her love and support through this very hard time. With your generosity, not only will she be helped financially, but she will also have hope, and see the beautiful love and support from strangers all over the world who are angels who have compassion and really truly do care. She will see that people out there who she doesn't even know, are there for her too during this very difficult time. She will know she is loved, more and more every day. 


All contributions will go toward her medical bills and cover any expenses incurred due to this horrible illness so she never has to worry about these things and she can focus on the good fight, getting better and building more memories of the precious moments of life. Any contributions above paying the bills are going to be put toward making sure whatever amount of time she has left, she will be comfortable and worry-free. I want her to live in peace, enjoy her life with her husband, children and grandchildren and God willing, she will even BEAT this cancer once and for all. She deserves it.

I hope I've also provided some encouragement and hope for anyone out there who suffers from such a scary thing and inspired you to be optimistic and have faith. I appreciate you all and thank you so much for your love and support. It means the absolute world to me. There is a special place in heaven for people like you. God bless!
