Kim and I have been lifelong friends with Vikki. We all met in jr. high school. Over these past 10 years, we have watched Vikki battle cancer and win and seen her go through so many complications with her heart and lungs. She was a warrior through it all. Vikki ended up divorced and has since been on her own trying to make ends meet while still having health issues. Last year Vikki has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time in her life. She also got COVID and recovered and then was hit with the debilitating effects of long haul COVID. She tried to continue her job through all of this as Vikki enjoyed her career and thrived doing her job- she loved her work family. Sadly, she became unable to work at all. Her financial picture has hit hard and Vikki is not only facing long and hard cancer treatments, but at the same time she faces eviction. Kim and I decided to set up a Go Fundme to assist Vikki because if we all give a little it will help Vikki so immensely at this time.
