Thank you for taking the time to read our Go Fund Me page. My name is Joshua, and I co-own a recently established internet business with my friend, Kyle. Our goal for this company is to supply people with emergency, survival, outdoors and preparedness equipment and gear. Being prepared for any emergency is our priority, and we're hoping you can help us accomplish this by meeting our funding goals so we can acquire our inventory and establish our web presence.
I spent six years as a US Army infantrymen, serving two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Through my experience while deployed, and being an avid outdoorsmen, I have learned the importance of being prepared for anything that can happen.
My partner, Kyle, currently serves as an Army reservist. He is an experienced outdoorsmen and firearms enthusiast. He has experience successfully managing a business, as well as specializing in internet marketing, social media, and search engine optimization in his civilian career.
Our philosophy is to only sell items we would trust ourselves. Having quality, yet affordable gear and equipment takes top precedence for us. We plan to test every item we supply and record our findings (if applicable), making the videos available for all to see on YouTube. We have the LLC established, domain name registered, we are already an authorized dealer for many distributors, importers and manufacturers, but we need funding in order to obtain our inventory and build our website.
So what does your funding go towards? About 80% of the funding will go towards obtaining inventory. Buying directly from importers and manufacturers allows us to obtain a large amount of inventory for an affordable price. About 5% will go to designing our website. Kyle spent several years as a web designer, so he will be able to design the site at an affordable cost. Another 5% will go to logo design and trademarking. The remainder will be allocated towards marketing and advertising.
What will our inventory consist of? We will be using a lot of military surplus equipment. This gear is affordable, rugged and tested. We will be selling a lot of camping and outdoors equipment. We will also be housing premade survival kits, such as trunk kits and home kits, as well as bug out bags. If you would need it in an emergency situation, we will carry it.
With your help, we will be able to acquire inventory, get our site launched, and be able to begin marketing. Once the business is more established, we will be donating part of our proceeds on a regular basis to charities, focusing on military and children charities.
