Chewys eye surgery

If you know me you know it is really hard for me to ask for help, especially financially.  About a week ago I noticed Chewy’s eye was irritated, but didn’t think much of it.  I kept wiping it out and keeping it clean but he was in pain and it kept getting worse so I got him into the vet last Wednesday.  The vet informed me that somehow Chewy sustained severe trauma to his eye and may need it removed.  We spent a week giving him tons of eyedrops and meds but today found out that the eye could not be saved.   He is currently in surgery having it removed at a total cost of around 2000 between the prior appointment and the surgery itself.

Normally this amount would not be that big of a deal, but if you know me personally you know that I am due to have a baby in six days.  I have been off work for almost a month due to blood pressure complications and have no income right now.  When I do get paid it will be only a small portion of my normal pay which is barely enough to pay our bills.  We saved a lot knowing this but have already been having to use our savings to pay for a broken water heater and other random expenses lately and the baby isn’t even here yet

Every penny donated will go straight to the bill for Chewy’s care.  I feel really bad even having to ask but this all just happened at a really bad time.  Thank you for any amount you can give, we appreciate it more than you know!
