Hi everyone,

Our 5-month-old Goldendoodle, Elliot, is currently in emergency surgery after the vets discovered a severe intestinal blockage. Without immediate surgery, he would not survive.

Elliot is still just a baby. He’s full of energy, curiosity, and that goofy Goldendoodle personality that makes you laugh even on your worst days. He loves everyone he meets, follows us from room to room, and has already become such a huge part of our family in such a short time.

This all happened suddenly. One moment he was his playful self, and the next he was vomiting, in pain, and we were rushing him to the emergency vet. After X-rays and exams, the doctors told us he needed surgery right away to save his life.

The cost of this emergency procedure is $6,000. Unfortunately, we have to pay it before we leave, and they don’t offer financing. With the snowstorm, every other clinic is closed.

We didn’t hesitate to say yes to the surgery — because Elliot deserves a chance to grow up, to run, to play, and to live the long, happy life he should have. But this unexpected expense is overwhelming.
