My name is Anissa Llamado, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my brother, Daniel Llamado, who passed away suddenly after a long and difficult battle with addiction and mental health.

On the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, our world was shattered. My mom— a single mother of seven—held her eldest son in her arms, doing everything she could to bring him back. Daniel had just completed a 6-month recovery program. We were filled with hope, believing we were finally getting our brother back—the version of him that existed before addiction took hold.

Daniel wasn’t defined by his struggles. He loved his family deeply and fought every single day to be there for us and his children. He leaves behind four beautiful children, six siblings, our mom, and countless others who loved him.

We never expected to lose him this soon. We are asking for help to raise $11,000 to cover his funeral, burial, and memorial expenses—to give him the peaceful and respectful goodbye he deserves.
