OUR MATE

Hi for those that don’t know me my name is Peter. myself and mate Tony are looking to raise funds for Sean Turner ‘Our Mate’ taking part in the Monton 5 miler on August bank holiday Monday.

last year Sean was really ill and spent most of the year in hospital.

missing all of Xmas and birthday with his little baby boy Jimmy.

it was the worst time for Sean his wife Rebecca and his little boy jimmy also hard on his all his close family who’s bond has only been strengthened through this tough period..

earlier this year after months and searching Sean was given great news that a stem cell match had been found so with in weeks treatment was given weeks after things looked really good everything was looking positive and heading towards Sean becoming better and beating the illness, unfortunately after his latest series of tests the Treatment has not seemed to of worked and doctors have said they don’t think there is much more they can do!

throughout this whole time Sean has been his positive funny self and seemed to just get on with it and his stance hasn’t changed after this latest heartbreaking news he’s fighting tooth and nail and won’t give up.

This fight now looks to other research and other treatments which could also mean going abroad.

Sean is a proud family man and a great mate he would next ask for anything but do anything for anyone as much as he would look to fund this treatment himself he now needs to focus and other things to get himself better so the worry of funding falls to us around him who will do everything to make this happen.

Our world is an awful place at the minute so any positive is a win so any donation to this cause little or large will be the positives that we all need…
