My name is Julia and my family and I are hoping to raise money to cover our 10 year old dog Jaxx’s emergency medical procedures. On Monday, November 17th, Jaxx was found unable to walk and was breathing unsteadily. He was rushed to the vet and they found a large amount of internal bleeding in his abdomen, and a mass on his liver or spleen (the vet is currently unsure as to the exact location). We’ve called multiple emergency animal hospitals around us, and all are unable to provide any significant financial assistance, which is what Jaxx urgently needs as his condition can rapidly decline. We’re asking for donations to cover the x-ray costs as well as the emergency surgery needed to remove the mass from his abdomen that’s inoperable without a blood transfusion. Any amount helps tremendously.

Update: Thank you all so much for your donations. Unfortunately, after taking Jaxx for x-rays, we were told emergency surgery isn’t an option, as the cancer has spread to his bones. In good news, one of the medications he was given clotted the internal bleeding in his abdomen and is now solid. We’re now keeping Jaxx comfortable at home. Any current and future donations will go towards any further pain medication he requires, as well as cremation services after he passes. Thank you.
