Hello, my name is Ian. I am a queer aspiring comic creator. I need to get out and establish myself. I love in a small Texas suburb with little to no job opportunities around me for someone entering the job field, making it nearly impossible to leave my household and live on my own.

I've been looking for more than a year and haven’t been able to find a job as the opportunities in my area are limited to highly skilled positions that require years of experience and postgraduate degrees. I had a job at one point at a local grocery store, but was laid off shortly after being injured at the workplace.

I live with my Aunt, Uncle, and Grandma. My grandma has been with me my whole life, while my Aunt and Uncle adopted me from my abusive mother.

This fund is to help me move cross-country to live with my partner so that I can be independent and find job opportunities, and will cover expenses for moving, a portion of the first month's rent and security deposit, and essentials such as food, water, and gas while job searching in my new locale.
