Hi, my name is Fran and I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in March 2021. The prognosis given was 2-3 years. I’m currently receiving palliative care at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Wirral. I have a strong Christian faith which sustains me and I have many church friends praying for me for which I’m so grateful ☺️

However, my mobility is affected (and deteriorating) and I would like to enhance my quality of life by having a mobility scooter to use when I go out. I am unable to stand in queues etc., which makes shopping and doing other errands difficult. It will take me some time to save up and buy one so I have set this fundraiser up for anyone who wishes to help. Getting out and about (especially in summer) helps with my mental health too as I love being outdoors and enjoying nature.

I will close this fundraiser as soon as the target is reached. I’m also going to do some research into the cost of secondhand mobility scooters as well.
