Hello Friends and Family,

After more than two decades working in humanitarian service, I never expected to find myself starting over and asking for help. For 25 years, my career has been devoted to supporting communities through crisis, displacement, and uncertainty. Today, due to the dismantling of USAID programs that shaped my professional path, I am navigating a sudden and deeply personal transition — returning to the United States to rebuild my life from the ground up.

This moment feels both humbling and unfamiliar. I have spent most of my life helping others find stability during difficult times, and now I am facing that same uncertainty myself. Relocating means securing housing, rebuilding daily stability, and searching for meaningful work in a changing professional landscape. It is not just a career shift — it is a full life reset.

Right now, I am focused on creating a bridge between where I am and where I hope to be next. Your support will help cover essential transition costs such as safe housing, transportation, and basic living expenses while I actively pursue employment and reconnect with opportunities where my experience can continue to make a difference.

Asking for help does not come easily. My work has always centered on resilience, service, and lifting others up, but I believe community goes both ways. The generosity shown here is not only financial support — it is encouragement, solidarity, and a reminder that even those who have spent years serving others sometimes need a hand to move forward.

My goal is simple: to regain stability, rebuild with dignity, and continue contributing to communities in meaningful ways. If you are able to donate or share this page, you are helping me take the next step toward stability and a renewed future in service. Thank you for being part of this journey and for standing with me during a moment of profound transition.

For those who feel more comfortable with Zelle or Apple Pay, I can accept both via my personal U.S. phone number. Deepest gratitude.

Love and Light.

Sincerely,
Katrina
