Hello family and friends, I come to you this afternoon to ask for your help. As some of you know, the transmission went out in my car over a month ago and that is my only transportation to my doctor's appointments and to church. I've had my uncle's car, but I need to get it back to him. I hate that it's come to this and me having to ask for help because it's hard for me to ask. But I'm at a standstill because I got a call Friday from my mechanic, and he told me that in order to get my car fixed, it's going to need another transmission, and they're not cheap. He said for one and the transmission fluid and labor, because it's got a CVT transmission, I'm looking at around $3,000. I just didn't know what to do but pray about it and start a GoFundMe to see if anyone can help me raise the money. I'm on disability, and since I lost my husband back in May of 2013, it's just my income which is from month to month. I have been able, with the help of some loved ones, to come up with $1,000. So I'm trying really hard. But I need your help in whatever you can spare. It doesn't matter what you can donate, big or small. It will all be greatly appreciated, and I know we're all struggling with something, and if you can't help, then I understand. I would also ask that you help me pray about this matter.
