support for Ashton's family

Hi, my name is Kate and I am raising funds to help support Jenn and Daryl VonFeldt as they navigate something no parents should ever have to go through.

Ashton was a fighter from day one. Being born as early as he was, he went through a lot as a baby but fought tooth and nail through everything thrown his way. He was the happiest, sweetest, most caring child and the world is worse off for not seeing him grow into his true potential. Ashton loved helping his dad from an early age, turning wrenches on his walker before he was even 2. His mom was his safe place and you could tell by the way his smile lit up when he saw her. Matilda, Ashton's older sister, was his best friend and he loved spending time with her.

On February 3rd, Ashton was called home after a brief but tough battle with Leukemia at the age of 11. He never gave up and was a fighter until the end. He was thankfully surrounded by the people that loved him most and had a whole group of people supporting him from outside.

All funds raised will help with funeral costs and allow his family the time to grieve without worrying about the bills piling up. Any money left over after they get back on their feet will be donated back to Children's hospital in Denver so they can continue providing care and services to other children.

Services for Ashton will be held at Christ Community Church in Greeley on Monday, February 13th at 2 p.m.
