Please save my Cody

Hi everybody,

My dog, Cody, is such a survivor. He was abused and neglected in his previous home and found his way to Chicago from Texas. The day Cody and I found each other was one of the best moments of my life. Cody had a difficult healing track and suffered from ringworms, heartworms, and tapeworms, We finally got all those under control (which took almost a year). For the past 6 months Cody's been my certified, trained, and licensed service dog.

As you can see in the profile picture, he's very handsome and kind. This picture was taken when I was very depressed and sitting on a recliner crying, and he was directly next to me on the couch looking at me, making sure I am okay, and telling me he loves me in his own little way.

In the past week, I have been struggling tremendously with my fear for Cody's life.

Cody has cancer. I need to come up with around 2,800 dollars to cover his blood work, heart exams (he has a heart murmur that has to be monitored closely to prevent surgical complications), and then the surgery itself, as well as 2 follow-ups.

Cody has been the brightest light to me and all my family and friends. He is an example of gentleness and daintiness, true love, unconditional kindness, and strength. Cody is our entire world.

Please, please consider helping me and my Cody. If you can also share this post everywhere I would appreciate it so so much. Help save my little dude.
