UPDATE: Where Your Donations Are Going

I wanted to say the biggest thank you to each and every one of you who has supported Archie — whether through donations, kind messages, or shares. Your generosity has been overwhelming, and it truly means the world.

I thought I’d share a little breakdown of what your donations have helped pay for, based on Archie’s vet bill so far (which has now reached $5,000+). Every single dollar has gone directly to his emergency care, and here's how your support has made a difference:

$20 donations

→ Helped pay for a dose of pain relief (Methone)

→ Or covered hospital care supplies like medical waste handling

$25 donations

→ Helped fund vital lab tests such as electrolytes or LAC panels

→ Covered part of his ongoing bloodwork

$30 donations

→ Covered a full dose of pain relief (Methone)

→ Or contributed to his anti-nausea medication (Prevomax)

$40 donations

→ Paid for a PCV/TP blood test

→ Helped manage Archie’s symptoms and monitor his progress

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to ask for your help for my beautiful puppy, Archie.

Archie is currently in hospital undergoing urgent and ongoing care. The vets still aren’t sure what’s wrong — he may have pancreatitis, or he may have ingested a toxin (though we may never know for sure, as it's likely already passed through his system). He’s being closely monitored, but he’s still very unwell and may need more x-rays, testing, and possibly even surgery in the coming days. It’s a scary and uncertain time, and Archie will be in hospital for a while yet.

Archie is only 7 months old, and he means the world to me. He’s the happiest, funniest, and most adventurous little guy — he loves stealing shoes, running wild in the yard, and joining me on all of life’s adventures. He comes with me to the climbing gym and the crag, and he loves hiking and running around the Blue Mountains, where we live. He’s more than a pet — he’s my sidekick, my best buddy, and my heart.

His vet bills have already passed $4,000, and they’re continuing to rise each day with ongoing hospitalization and treatment. It’s more than I can manage on my own, which is why I’m reaching out — whether it’s a donation, a share, or just sending love, it all helps.
