My mom was the heart of our family. She loved deeply, gave selflessly, and always put the people she cared about first. She was the kind of woman who showed her love in quiet but powerful ways, through her support, her encouragement, and simply by always being there. Her presence made everything feel safer and warmer. Losing her has left us devastated.
As we try to process this unimaginable loss, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden of burial/cremation expenses. On top of that, my dad is now navigating life without his wife, his partner, his best friend, and the financial adjustment that comes with that is overwhelming.
We are asking for help to give my mom the respectful farewell she deserves and to help ease some of the pressure on my dad during this incredibly painful transition.
