Our sister Julie and her fiance Chris booked a venue for their wedding on 5/25/2014. After pre-paying $20,000 for the event to be at reBar in Brooklyn, they found out that the owner closed the venue and disappeared. The owner stole all money from them and many others. The anger and heartbreak hit everyone in our families. What makes this even worse is that the price included everything.

Though Julie and Chris found another venue, they are unable to have the wedding they planned since all of their funds are gone. 

We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the venue, cake, flowers and music. Eventhough there is not a lot of time left, we are grateful for every dime raised.
