Michael’s memorial fund

My name is Melissa Dinkel, my husband is Michael Dinkel. He was 28, about to turn 29 in October. He served  four years in the US Army.
He loved serving for our country. He was the biggest die hard Broncos fan I’ve ever met.

He was the most amazing husband and father. He did everything and anything for myself and the kids. He always put us first. No matter what. He was the type of person to always have a plan for our family. Anytime he had a plan in his mind he accomplished it. 

Aside from the family him and I created he was a loving son, Brother, father, uncle, nephew, grandson & friend. Anyone who came in contact with-him immediately knew the kind hearted and loving person he was! 

He was 6’3& a half ft tall and he was the biggest gentle giant and biggest teddy bear in the world! 

He was my protector. My strength when I didn’t have any. He helped me get sober and helped me stay sober. He was mine and the kids world and then some. 

July 1st 2020 will forever be the absolute worst day of our lives for the rest of our lives. 

He woke up with our daughter Lily, while Myself, Nolan, & Logan still slept. Then I heard him yelling for me I responded and couldn’t hear him ask for me again. Then a few minutes later I heard banging on the door and him yelling “Babe, babe” so I sprinted out of bed and he was laying in front of our bed room door he had collapsed and it all went down hill from there! 

My husband passed away after an hour of being awake on a normal day for our family. He loved playing pubg, fishing, shooting and hunting with his dad brother and uncles, but he loved the kids and I the most.He lived and breathed for the five of us. Myself, Nico, Logan, Lily, & Nolan. 

Michael was fully disabled and I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with him and the kids. 

So I’m asking for help to help pay for his funeral expenses and to help the kids and I get back on our feet! I’m not too sure how we’re going to be able to get through this but I have to do it for our babies!
