Help Stephanie Battle Stage 3C Cancer

For those who are super close to Stephanie, you most likely already know she hasn’t been feeling well for roughly a year now. She’s been suffering massive bleeding, pain, very low blood counts/anemia, and more! She has sought out medical help to try to resolve whatever is wrong. Luckily the staff at the Rouyn hospital have been super helped at getting her a diagnosis.

After a couple emergency room visits in Rouyn, she was referred to a specialist, had a minor surgery, as well as biopsy, mri, blood work & currently awaiting her CT Scan to see if she’s is only at Stage 3, or if it has progressed. We’re crossing our fingers and saying prayers it’s only at Stage 3.

Stephanie was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine/Cervical Cancer on July 14, 2022.

Her biggest concern is her three children, but they will have the support of their family during their mothers treatment. Her other biggest issue will be financial. As you all know, she is a small business owner, so that does not cover employment Insurance, which means she will have NO salary for the next 4-6 months minimum! On top of no income, she will still be held responsible to pay her lease for her business as well as pay her monthly household bills. As if this isn’t enough of a burden, she will also need to pay roughly 80$/per day while staying in Montreal for her treatments.

Her mother, Kimberly, will be accompanying her during her stay in Montreal for her treatments.

It is planned that Stephanie will be going to Montreal for 3-4 weeks at each time for agressive treatments receiving chemotherapy AND radiation at the same time. It is expected 4-6 months of 3-4 weeks of treatments in Montreal which is about 7-8 hours from where she lives.

There’s no numerical number I could give that would cover her monthly expenses, salon expenses as well as her daily rate to stay in Montreal so I am setting the gofundme at 45000$.

If we successfully raise that much money she will not even need to blink one eye about stressing beyond her treatments. If there is an excess of money left over we would graciously donate the rest of the money in her name to some sort of Cancer organization in Canada.

Stephanie literally the strongest women I know, and has been keeping a positive outlook on her upcoming treatments, but I know she won’t ask for the help she needs, so I am doing that on her behalf.

I want my friend to be able to focus on getting better for herself and her children instead of worrying about how she will survive financially. So please if you can assist in any way, we would appreciate that so much.

Stephanie has lived in Kirkland Lake most of her life, Windsor for a big chunk and now presently lives in Rouyn-Noranda. So for all the people she has met along the way, I’m sure we can do our part to help save her. ♥️
