Fire Relief Fund- Jamilka ( Jayrozze) & Family

Hello Everyone,

In the wee hours of the night this past Monday morning, my family endured a devastating incident that will forever change their lives.

During this Thanksgiving week, a horrendous fire affected and displaced a total of 4 families in Jersey City. Among them are my mother, Arelis and sister Jamilka, also known as Jayrozze in the makeup industry.

The fire's origin is still unknown. However, the convenience store on the first floor was completely destroyed; fire spread all over the building, doing irreparable damage in its path. Neighbors should be hailed heroes; they went door to door with black and smoke telling everyone to "GET OUT GET OUT ..FIRE" and literally dragged an older neighbor out to safety. My sister broke her ankle and sustained other injuries when falling down the stairs in an attempt to exit the building. My mother has also been physically affected and emotionally distraught; she had never experienced anything like this before. We were all planning our Thanksgiving gathering and travel this week.

This GoFundMe has been created to provide aid for my sister and mother's temporary housing (hotel) since they cannot return to the apartment due to its inhabitable condition. Funds will also be used to cover the cost of food, long-term housing expenses, housewares & furnishings replacement, clothing, laptops, ipads, electronics, etc etc.

This is by far a makeup artist's biggest nightmare!!! All products are potentially damaged and must be replaced along with other cosmetology essentials and equipment.

We hope the community, friends and family can unite and provide support at this time of need.

We wholeheartedly appreciate your help and prayers in getting them back on their feet as soon as possible.
