*Standing up to Workplace Injustice, Hostility and Racism* Have you ever been subjected to continuous workplace discrimination, hostility and unfair treatment? Have you had to endure underhanded racism? If you have, as I know this has become an epidemic for black people, then you can relate to my narrative. My name is Moni, a devoted mother to my children, a great lover of people with a passion and intentional in caring for humanity. My deep desire to care for people was what guided my chosen career path which was to become a cancer nurse (Haematology). Apart from being a parent, this is the most rewarding purpose I have ever fulfilled. In my time working in this capacity, I have been opportune to meet all kinds of amazing and wonderful cancer patients (I will not trade this experience for anything in the world), all of which I remember one by one as I always take my time to get to know my patients enabling them to trust the care that I provide to them. I currently work for an NHS hospital employer and it saddens me to reveal, that with my 22 years of work experience, I have been and continue being subjected to different forms of discrimination (direct and indirect), victimisation and oppression. I have always been treated as inferior to my white colleagues and opportunities to grow professionally was often withheld but handed easily to my white colleagues. As this behaviour was the norm, I ignored this and got on with my work which I am passionate about, focusing on patients care was much more important to me (even though this bothered me, I suppressed it so as to protect my feelings). Unfortunately, due to my continued silence, this has now deteriorated in the last year, as my employers have continued to subject me to unimaginable unfair treatment and this must now stop. This has affected me emotionally, mentally, physically and financially and I refuse to live like this. I have now chosen to use my voice and say "NO". I have chosen to stand up to this huge organisation as this is wrong and unacceptable and must not continue to happen to myself or others who suffer this underhanded behaviour silently. My appeal to you, is your financial support/assistance to fight this injustice that festers in this organisation which I have fought for a year now. No one deserves to work under such conditions and for this reason I started legal proceedings for both a civil and employment law case and this is costing me greatly, any support will be deeply appreciated and will go a long way in ensuring I see this to a favourable outcome. As a  BAME nurse in the NHS, a significant number of us have been fighting the pandemic of discrimination, racism and all forms of unfair treatment and injustices for as long as we can remember. It is a virus that many of us have developed our own vaccination to combat.  Many of us have settled for unimaginable unfairness yet the entrenchment of discrimination within the NHS knows no bounds. The Covid-19 pandemic has shed some light on some of the discrimination and racism in the NHS yet it appears that hospital Trusts have deliberately chosen to ignore this. As a senior nurse, like many, I devote my time, love, energy and passion into caring, I deserve the opportunity to be able to focus on that and not continue to be subjected to unfair treatment at my place of work.  I would like to say a heartfelt thank you in advance for your anticipated assistance
