Dear friends and family,

I come to you today with a heavy heart as we share the news that my dear friend Yvette Zermeno’s 11 year old son, our sweet Aiden, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia (B-ALL). This news has shaken us to our core, but we’re incredibly grateful that he is stable enough to go home after a long 9-day stay in the hospital.

As many of you know, this past week has been filled with uncertainty, fear, and heartache. However, through it all Aiden has remained incredibly strong. We are all hopeful as he begins the long road to recovery. Doctors are saying his treatment will be at least 2 years of chemotherapy.

The pediatric oncology team at Texas Children’s Hospital has been absolutely amazing. We are putting our trust in them as they help Aiden and his family through this journey. They have reassured us that they will do everything in their power to get Aiden back to being his normal, healthy, and joyful self.

We are asking for your support during this challenging time. Your prayers, positive thoughts, and any contribution to help with medical expenses, treatments, and other needs would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps, and we can’t thank you enough for being part of Aiden’s journey.
